Commissioning of Larry & Lynda Fisher
Dedication of Mosby the Ministry dog

April 13, 2008
Mosby and his owners, Lynda and Larry Fisher, are available for pastoral visits. If you would like to find out about having a pastoral visit from Mosby please email him at mosby@fbclittleton.org .  You may also send him fan mail and he will try to answer them to the best of his ability.   But due to his busy schedule, he may or may not be able to honor every request, but promises to discuss each one with Lynda and Larry.

Thank you to the Couper Foundation for their support.   Mosby has been trained by NEADS, Dogs for Deaf and Disabled Americans in Princeton, MA.   NEADS was established in1976 to train and provide rescued dogs and donated puppies to assist people who are deaf or physically disabled.  NEADS now trains hearing and service dogs, military and ministry dogs.  For more information visit their website here: NEADS

Thank you Vinnie!

Pet’s I have known or grown!  By Vincent Couper

“The first collie dog came to us on the highway.  At that time Route 2 was the Mohawk Trail.  She was a high bread Collie with a long nose and she had a litter of pups at our farmhouse on 2A, including Peggy (pictured with Dean and I at age 12 – 15).  Before then was Prince an old dog who, like Peggy, finally died a natural death.  I remember Peggy had a path worn (inside the wall) along 2A as she chased Snuffy Davis’ school barge (an undertaker’s car already mentioned in school Memories).

Then I remember my Uncle George’s dog Muggins (a small wirehaired terrier) who would follow a woodchuck right down his hole to get him.

Then there was the lengthy smooth haired dog with the unusual name (P-Nuts) (“peanuts” who got killed following me down to Flaggs.”
